Jennifer Masrud

Hi!  My name is Jennifer Masrud.

At Riverview Elementary I am the Music Specialist and Choir Director.

 

I have  been happily married for 24 years.  We have two wonderful children. 

 

When I am not at school I like to  go on long walks, read a good book, cook for my family, travel to the countryside, sing in church choir and attend musical concerts and the theater.

 

When I was young I wanted to be a famous singer.  When I was in the 7th grade I knew I wanted to teach my love of music to others.

 

In the future I’d like to travel around the world with my family, learn how to be a master gardener and continue to make beautiful music with kids!

 

Here is where I went to college for my degree:  I completed my Bachelors of Music Education at the University of Texas in San Antonio in 1986. I will be finishing my Masters Degree in Music Education at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in November of this year.
